The thing Legion players notice first is the terrain. We put real time into the tables, and a tournament played on properly built boards is a different game than one played on flat mats. Yavin Base has streamed at our events, and they’re one of the best resources for tournament coverage and battle reports if you want to follow the broader competitive scene.
Legion sits in a sweet spot for miniatures gaming. Smaller model count than 40K or Sigmar, faster to learn, and the Star Wars IP pulls in players who’ve never touched a tournament before alongside veterans with years in the game. Atomic Mass Games continues to support the system with regular points updates and unit releases, and the competitive scene has stayed tight-knit because of it. Worth showing up for even if it’s your first event.
