Martin Orlando

Guest Artist – The Wandering Prince

Who Needs a Paintbrush Anyway? Army Painting FastTrack
Attendees will learn about elementary color theory, and how to get a gaming army painted quickly in a low-hassle fashion. There will be a Q&A after the demonstration.

How to Paint Black & White without using Black or White
This Seminar will cover advanced application of color theory, understanding the properties of color saturation, and universal shadow colors in gaming miniatures. Students will paint a portion of the miniature along with the instructor. There will be a Q&A session after the paint along.

Matthew Cantor

Guest Artist – Square Paints

Painting Better Faces
Learn how to paint more expressive faces for tabletop miniatures through layering techniques. We will explore different tones to add visual interest. We will also show how to apply glazes to add color variety to a face and bring it to life.

Intro to Non-Metallic Metal
Learn the basics behind non metallic metal and will have the opportunity to paint a basic metal shape such as a sword or pauldron. We will discuss what tones to use for different types of metal, light contrast in metal, and basic highlight placement. We will also work on using layering and glazes to achieve smooth blends/transitions.

Amanda Kopet

Guest Artist – Synchroneyess Painting

Introduction to Weathering Techniques
You’ve painted the perfect model with a pristine paint job. Now lets make that model look like it has fought in hundreds of battles over the years. In this class we will go over how to create chipping and scratches on your model, and where best to apply those effects. We will also use weathering pigments to create effects for a dusty martian environment or a muddy jungle.

Using Textures to Create Visual Interest on Your Models
Do you find your models looking flat? Using different techniques to create texture across the materials on the model can add a lot of visual interest and help differentiate between materials. In this class we will use stippling and glazing techniques to paint several different materials on a model.

John Correira

Guest Artist – Crows Nest Craft

Hobby Secrets: Evergreen Trees
Join John from Crows Nest Craft for a unique, hands-on beginner course where you’ll learn to create STUNNING brick wall ruins using everyday items from a dollar store. Prepare to be amazed by how simple materials can be transformed into something magical.
