TTRPGs in New England
Curated one-shots all weekend. Beginners welcome. Pre-gens provided.

Ironweld — Summer 2026
Everwinter — Winter 2026
Wicked Dicey runs tabletop role-playing game sessions at Ironweld and Everwinter. Each convention features a full slate of three to four hour one-shots running Friday through Sunday, across systems like D&D 5E, Pathfinder, Mork Borg, DCC, Daggerheart, Coyote & Crow, and Hero Quest. All you need to sign up for a session is a Convention Pass, Day Pass, or Kid Pass. Most sessions are beginner friendly and all materials are provided.
We work with established TTRPG creators and publishers to bring real depth to the schedule. Danger Wizard is a professional Dungeon Master service based in Somerville, MA that runs games for communities across New England. Duck and Crow Press is an indie publisher of player-driven adventures designed to work across OSR and traditional systems. Both have built sessions for our events, and the result is a slate that goes well beyond the usual convention D&D table.

One Pass Gets You In
A Convention Pass, Day Pass, or Kid Pass is all you need to register for any session.

The TTRPG world is bigger and more interesting than it’s ever been. Indie publishers are putting out games that push past traditional fantasy in every direction. DriveThruRPG is the largest digital marketplace for tabletop role-playing games and where most indie creators sell their work, and itch.io hosts a deep catalog of small-press and zine-format games worth digging through. For tournament-style and convention play, the Roll20 and Foundry VTT communities are also worth a look. A lot of what shows up on our schedule comes from that ecosystem.
If you’ve only ever played D&D, the conventions are a good place to try something else. Mork Borg is brutal and fast. DCC funnels have you running three to four characters into a meat grinder. Daggerheart is a newer narrative-driven system from the team behind Critical Role worth getting your hands on. Coyote & Crow is an indigenous-created sci-fi setting that reimagines the Americas without colonization. Every session is run by a GM who knows the system and wants you to have a good time.
