Wicked Dicey Refund and Returns Policy
We try to keep this simple. Different products have different rules because they behave differently in the real world. Find your item type below and you’ll find the policy.
Events and Event Tickets
Tickets are non-refundable. This includes Convention Passes, Day Passes, Kid Passes, tournament tickets, TTRPG session tickets, and any other ticketed event entry.
Here’s why. When you buy a ticket, we use that money to book the venue, pay the staff, and lock in everything that has to be in place before the doors open. Most of that money is spent or committed well before the event itself. We can’t get it back, which means we can’t refund it.
That said, we get that life happens. We’ll consider exceptions in these cases:
- Death in the family
- Serious illness or hospitalization
- Medical emergency for you or an immediate family member
- Military deployment that conflicts with the event
Reach out to our support team if you’re in one of these situations. We’ll handle it case by case.
Ticket transfers. If you can’t make it, you can transfer your ticket to another person. Email us with your name, the new attendee’s name, and the event you’re transferring. We’ll update the registration.
If we cancel or reschedule. If Wicked Dicey cancels an event, you’ll get a full refund or the option to roll your ticket to the next event of the same type. If we reschedule, your ticket transfers automatically to the new date. We’ll be in touch directly with instructions.
Hobby classes. Class fees directly support the instructors, who book their time and prepare materials around your registration. Hobby class tickets follow the same non-refundable policy as event tickets, with the same exceptions listed above.
Wicked Basing
Welcome to return your basing kit if it arrives broken or damaged.
Resin is brittle by nature, and we ship it as carefully as we can, but things happen in transit. If your kit arrives with broken or unusable pieces, reach out to our support team within 14 days of delivery with a photo of the damage and we’ll send a replacement.
A few things worth knowing:
- Each pack varies. The mix of shapes and pieces can vary from pack to pack. That’s how small-batch resin casting works.
- If you broke it, that’s on you. Resin is brittle. Treat it that way. We can’t replace pieces that broke after delivery during prep, painting, or gluing.
- Missing pieces. If something’s missing from your pack, send us a note and we’ll make it right.
Used Models (Buy / Sell / Trade)
Used models work a little differently because condition is the whole game.
Buying from us. Every used model is graded and listed with photos. If what arrives doesn’t match the listing condition, you have 7 days from delivery to reach out for a return or partial credit. Once a model has been painted, primed, stripped, or modified after you receive it, the sale is final.
Selling to us. Quotes are based on the condition you describe at the time of submission. When your models arrive, we inspect them. If the condition matches, the offer stands. If anything needs adjusting, we’ll send you an updated quote and you can approve it, decline it, or have your models sent back. Return shipping on declined quotes is on us.
Shipping damage. If a used model arrives damaged because of how it was packed, that’s on the sender. Pack your models carefully when you ship them to us, and we’ll do the same when we ship to you.
Wicked Dice
Welcome to return your dice if they arrive damaged or defective.
If your order shows up with broken, mis-cast, or unreadable dice, reach out within 14 days of delivery and we’ll replace them. Photo helps speed things up.
We can’t accept returns on opened sets that have been rolled and used unless there’s a defect, and we can’t refund dice that have been customized or special-ordered.
Preorders. Preorder dice ship or become available for event pickup once production wraps. If a preorder timeline slips, we’ll email you with an update. You can cancel a preorder for a full refund up until the dice ship or are picked up.
Wicked Clothing
Clothing exchanges are handled in person at our events.
Bring your item to the merch booth at any Wicked Dicey convention, and we’ll exchange it for a different size or a different design of equal value, while stock lasts. We don’t keep clothing inventory in storage between events, which means we can’t process exchanges by mail.
If your clothing arrives damaged or defective from an online order, that’s a different story. Reach out to our support team within 14 days of delivery and we’ll make it right.
Shipping and Lost Packages
If a package is lost in transit or arrives damaged because of carrier handling, reach out and we’ll work with the carrier to file a claim. We’ll either replace your order or refund you depending on what makes sense for the situation. We can’t be responsible for packages marked delivered but missing from your porch. If that happens, file a report with the carrier first and we’ll help where we can.
