Paint Reds that Pop

Red is one of the most difficult colors to paint. If you’re not careful when highlighting, it turns out looking pink or orange. In this class we will go over how to achieve a bright red that really pops while still maintaining a good level of value contrast. Students should bring sharp brushes and wet palettes. Miniatures and paints will be provided; however, students are encouraged to bring paints that they may want to try out.
