Wicked Dicey runs tabletop wargaming events across Ironweld, Everwinter, Summer Slaughter, our Spring Retreat, and our Fall Retreat. We host tournaments in Warhammer 40K, Age of Sigmar, Star Wars: Legion, Marvel Crisis Protocol, Star Wars: Shatterpoint, Infinity the Game, and more, with players traveling from across the country and internationally to compete.

The New England wargaming community is one of the most active in the country, and our events have become a regular stop on the broader competitive calendar. Top-ranked players, world team competitors, and people who’ve never played a tournament before all end up at the same events. Goonhammer covers most of the systems we run with tournament reports and faction guides, and Best Coast Pairings is where pairings, standings, and the broader event calendar live for the games that use it.
Every system runs differently. Some of our tournaments are 2-day, 5-round GTs. Others are 3-day, 7-round majors. Our retreats run team tournaments, smaller fields, and a more relaxed weekend pace. We also run Narrative Events at our biggest conventions for players who want story-driven play over standings. The pairings and standings for most of our events live on Best Coast Pairings or Longshanks, depending on the system. Each game’s tournament page has the specific format, round count, and TO for that system.
Tables matter. Our events run on properly built terrain, not flat mats, and that’s something players notice the moment they sit down. We work with sponsors, streamers, and local hobbyists to make sure every event looks the part. Most of our majors are streamed with proper commentary by partners like Professional Casual Network for MCP and Yavin Base for Legion, and we work with established creators in each system’s community to bring tournament coverage to the broader scene.
The reason most people come back isn’t the tournaments. It’s the people. We’ve built a community that travels together, hangs out between rounds, and treats new players like locals. If you’ve never been to a wargaming event before, the Spring Retreat and Fall Retreat are good places to start, smaller fields and more time to actually meet people. If you’ve been on the GT circuit for years, you already know what we run.
