We’ve been running competitive 40K in New England since 2021. Ironweld and Everwinter are our biggest tournaments, drawing 64+ players, world team competitors, and travelers from as far as Australia. Add in Summer Slaughter, our Spring Retreat and Fall Retreat, and our Narrative Events, and there’s a format for every kind of player.
Grand Tournaments
Ironweld runs 2 days, 5 rounds. Everwinter runs 3 days, 7 rounds. Summer Slaughter runs 2 days, 5 rounds. All 64+ players.
Retreats
Our Spring Retreat and Fall Retreat run 18 to 36+ player fields. Fall Retreat 2026 hosts our first 40K Teams event, 5 players per team.

Warhammer 40K is the biggest competitive miniatures game in the world right now and the New England scene has grown with it. Most weekends there’s an event somewhere in the region, and the players who show up to ours are the same ones grinding GTs across the country. If you’re newer to the format, Goonhammer is a solid place to start for tournament reports and faction guides, and Best Coast Pairings is where you’ll find pairings, standings, and the broader event calendar.
Editions move fast in 40K. Rules updates, balance dataslates, and new codexes roll out on a regular cadence, and most of our tournaments use the current Games Workshop matched play missions and points. The Warhammer Community site is the official source for rules updates and FAQs, and it’s worth bookmarking if you’re planning to play in a GT this year.
