In this class we will talk about the science of light and how it interacts with diffferent shapes and materials. We will learn about specular and diffuse reflections and how they affect our perception of objects, as well as discuss why metallic surfaces are so uniquely difficult to understand and represent in art. This course will provide a solid theoretical foundation for determining how to approach painting different materials and volumes on your minis. For Intermediate to advanced painters.

Be sure to pick up a Convention Pass for entry to the conference. Feel free to stop by the Registration if you need directions to your class.

Paint and Miniatures will be provided by the instructor. Students are expected to bring brushes and encouraged to bring a wet palette. Basic wet palettes can be provided upon request. Students are welcome to use their own miniature and paints if they please.
